Smart doggy #

Limon super surprised me on Monday by passing a little test of her spatial intelligence on the first try :) since my place is like a maze, I hid one of her toys behind a door and told her to go get it - and she quickly figured out the situation and the route to go get it!

And later on into playing with her I challenged her to remember where her toy was after we'd been playing around without it. She looked around for a moment then remembered where it was and went and got it ❤️

Three days later I did the same spatial test but in reverse, and she did quite well! She got a bit distracted, so it took longer than otherwise, but eventually she got the toy on her own. A big thing is that she gets distracted, but that also helps to highlight how good her memory seems to be, as she'll snap back into doing what she was supposed to be doing, remembering the task and recalling where an object was that she's been tasked with finding.

Bonding time #

Bonding with Limon at 1am. Praising her profusely after she was out on the patio doing her potties and didn't do a single bark, even when I walked away for a while. And she seemed so happy and excited by all the praise. We were sitting on the couch, which she seems to really like.
